The high-voltage motor direct start is to directly start the motor under full voltage conditions. Direct start can be used if grid conditions permit. However, in the actual production process, direct start is rarely used due to the limited capacity of the power grid. When direct starting is used, the starting current is large, which causes a large voltage drop, which has a greater impact on the power supply system. If the voltage drop exceeds a certain value, it may cause the upper-level substation to trip. Therefore, this direct start method is rarely used in actual operation.
